Highly emotional. An amazing life story that needs to be heard.

This book is full of so much sadness, but so much hope. I’m amazed at how much life Sarah McBride has already lived, and I can’t wait to see what she does next. She is truly an inspiration.

This book covers the life of a trans-gender woman, her obstacles and wins throughout life- personally and in politics. The book stretched my perspective and brought me to tears a few times from dealing with grief.

Having recently gone through loss, I felt an emotional connection to her stories on loss and grief. It is part biography, part letter to others who relate to her experiences, and part letter to allies.

What an honest, open, brave, and loving book! Sarah's raw memoir is a truly inspiring book that will, no doubt, reach the hearts of many people!

Probably a good read for people like me who are often unempathetic to the immediate urgency of some issues. There is a reality to the ticking clock.

Also cancer sucks.
