This book is good but I feel like it could have been great if McBride had focused less on the politics and more on the personal.

hey could i get an eta on when i will actually believe there is still time?

A beautiful, heart-breaking and inspiring story of a journey and fight for acceptance, love, and identity. I can't quite put into words what reading this book meant to me. Sarah's journey is so amazing and inspiring. Her skill and passion for activism and politics was a clear part of her identity from the very beginning - it makes me proud to be a Delawarean knowing that such an advocate for equality came from our small (but mighty!) state and that she played a big part in making it a better, stronger, and more accepting and inclusive place to live. Her love story with her husband was so sad to hear about on the news and social media - and reading about it from her first-hand experience and how she lived through it and managed to find encouragement and inspiration through this beautiful tragedy absolutely broke my heart and gave me hope all at once. Sarah continues to inspire and make change throughout the country... for the safety and dignity of trans youth, for LGBTQ rights and equality, for states and legislators that need to hear and understand the truth once and for all - that trans people are PEOPLE - and for communities and people around the world who are finding inspiration in her story. With Sarah's stories and language and explanations and perspective she so vulnerably and thoughtfully shares, Tomorrow Will Be Different is a call to action to stand for acceptance, love, solidarity, and equality for all.

I'm absolutely filled with pride and hope that tomorrow will, indeed, be different - change is coming.

This book is a must read if you ask me.

This book took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions as I traveled with Sarah McBride in her journey as a Trans woman, right from having the courage to finally admitting to herself that she was a girl, telling her family, her friends, the world and working relentlessly and courageously to attain equal rights for the trans community in USA. Sarah's bravery inspired hope in me, her devastating loss of the love of her life made me cry. Despite her loss Sarah continued her protests, speeches and marches so the trans kids could reveal their gender identity earlier in life and live as their true self much longer than Sarah could.

Refreshes my hope that LGBTQIA+ advocacy can make a difference in the world, even when faced with hate from our leaders. A powerful memoir.

During this terrifying political climate, there is nothing more important than understanding the experiences and stories of transgender folks. I went into this memoir expecting a story about Sarah McBride's transition. I did not expect to learn even more about the American political system and how Sarah worked hand-in-hand with the government to help pass bills to protect the lives of LGBTQ+ Americans. I did not expect to cry over her story of love and loss. Unfortunately, the rights and freedoms of transgender folks are once again under attack and need to be defended and protected at all costs.
